Cool Seiko Pocket Watch

Pendent Set: rare Second Setting, snaps tightly, will not
             lift up by accident
Stem Wind: Seiko Crown
Dial: excellent
Hands: excellent
Crystal: excellent
Case: Stainless, bezel has some dings and dents. I do not rememeber
when reign of Showa started to get the date on the watch
case (Showa 42 + year reign began = date 1967?). The other Kanji
(Chinese scipt, letter) dateback marking indicates Eastern Railway.
Movement: clean serviced a year and half ago ,15 Jewel, wide damaskeening
strips and bridge layout, barrel, etc. like a Hamilton 992E.
       Keeps good time.
Hairspring: overcoil, unusual for a Seiko.
Balance Wheel: another rarity for a Seiko- two meantime screws,
and balance screws to poise wheel and rate watch.

How the second setting works. When the crown is pushed in a brass pin located on the 4th wheel (carries the second hand) passes by the fourth wheel(below left); however, when the stem is pulled out the lever will block the pin and stop the second hand at zero (below right). It is a unique way to hack a watch in order to set it to a master time source. This is a COOL POCKET WATCH with great features. Price: TRADEDClick on pictures to enlarge
